About me

I am an applied scientist at Amazon Robotics. There, I work on machine learning and computer vision methods to automate tasks in Amazon warehouses.

I am passionate about creating intelligent systems. My research interests lie in the fields of machine learning, computer vision, and evolutionary algorithms.

Before joining Amazon, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Ophthalmology at University of California, San Diego. I received my PhD in computer science and engineering from University of Nevada, Reno in 2020. Before that, I had two master's degrees, one in computer science and engineering form University of Nevada, Reno and the other in electrical engineering-electronics from Urmia University, Iran.
